Huntsville’s Hot Spot: Madison Neighborhood Guide

A suburb of Huntsville with a population right around 50,000, Madison, Alabama offers a sprawling, rural atmosphere and quaint downtown with all of the amenities of a modern city. From the beautiful play spaces, such as Palmer Park, to the massively fun Insanity Skate Park and the minor league baseball of the Rocket City Trash Pandas, there’s plenty of outdoor entertainment to be had.

Looking for good dining options? Madison has the crowd-pleasing Stem & Stein for craft beer, wine and cheese boards, the family-friendly Cork & Crust and the adorable Main St. Cafe. Although the population growth in Madison is relatively new, its popularity is a big reason why Bloomberg Business referred to the Huntsville metro area as one that will, “…power the U.S. economy.”
